About Us:
Jackie, Julie, Stephanie, Coleen and Susan have teamed up to create an Arizona Author Series hosted at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts in Scottsdale, Arizona. We invite authors to the Phoenix area who have incredible messages to share, great stories of inspiration and motivation. These are authors who we believe you just might want as your new best friend. As women in business and community volunteers we are raising money and awareness for local charities and having fun.
Jackie Ranger Hutt is a mother of two and a
graduate of Xavier College Preparatory and the University of Arizona. Jackie
has worked in sales and marketing for over 20 years and recently co-founded an
athletic scholarship consulting company. In 2012, Jackie joined the Patterson
Sports Ventures Team
for Player Development. She is responsible for working with all athletes from
high school through professional level.
Stephanie Kerkorian, is a native of Phoenix and a graduate of Santa Clara University. Along with her work on the Arizona Author’s Series, Stephanie volunteers with St. Vincent de Paul and Santa Clara University Alumni steering committee. Stephanie is a 20 year medical sales professional currently working at PCI Nuclear Pharmacy.
Susan Pohlman, susanpohlman.com, is a freelance writer based in Scottsdale. She is the author of Halfway to Each Other: How a Year in Italy Brought our Family Home and five award winning short films. The Misadventures of Matilda Mench won best screenplay in the 2010 Baltimore 48 Hour Film Project and the 2010 CINE Golden Eagle Award for best Independent Fiction Short. The Pen won best screenplay in the 2011 Baltimore 48. Her work has appeared in The Washington Times, Family Digest, The Family, Raising Arizona Kids, Guideposts Magazine, Homelife Magazine, AZ Parenting, Goodhousekeeping.com, and Italiannotebook.com.
Coleen Rossi is founder of the Trinity Cross Collection, an inspirational jewelry line inspired by her own personal journey and that of her family, trinitycrosshope.com Her jewelry appears in stores across the country as well as QVC. She resides in Scottsdale, mother of five, and active community volunteer.
Julie Vogel, is a Phoenix native and community volunteer. Julie's community commitment includes the Arizona Science Center, the Women's Board of the Arizona Kidney Foundation and All Saints' Episcopal Day School. Julie is a mother of 3 children.
